The Metal Clay Alchemist Society of San Diego County is a networking, education and promotional group whose purposes are: advancing the knowledge and skills of metal clay artist through educational programs conducted by both local and out-of town jewelry artists and by working collaboratively with other metal clay societies; promoting local members and instructors by pursuing opportunities to showcase member work, sharing techniques and skills and publishing member teaching schedules; and, promoting metal clay as a medium for jewelry making through participation in shows and community events, establishing a website with information, resources and training schedules and the publication of a newsletter.
